April 23, 2009 - Warwick Ice Cream

Warwick Ice Cream was pleased to host Mayor Avedisian and his team on April 23rd for the One- on-One program.
Founded by Charles Bucci in 1927, the company has been owned and operated by the Bucci family for 4 generations. By 1950, Warwick Ice Cream, which began as a milk delivery service, soon evolved into the major ice cream manufacturer and distributor that it is today.
During a tour of the facility, given by Jerry Bucci, Jr., president and Barry Newman, director of sales and marketing, the Mayor and his team were shown how ice cream is made, as well as the processes of packaging, freezing temperatures, storage and shipment.
Avedisian thanked Warwick Ice Cream for being a pillar in the community and wished the company another eighty-four years of success. If you would like to know more about Warwick Ice Cream please visit their website at www.warwickicecreamco.com
