March 16, 2010 - Food Chalet
On March 16th Mayor Avedisian and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Development visited the Food Chalet located at 874 Post Road in Warwick to meet One on One with owner Toni Lena.
Mayor Avedisian had the pleasure of meeting not only Toni, but members of the family who have owned and operated the business since 1972. The Warwick landmark has specialized in made to order sandwiches, pizza, calzones, salads and more.
The family business is continuing to meet the needs of the community by also providing catering services and special orders.
The Chalet is open Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am -6:00 pm, Sunday from 8:00 am-1:00 pm, closed on Mondays. 401-467-9169.
