May 20, 2009 - The Radisson Hotel Providence Airport
Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian and the Department of Tourism Culture and Development’s next stop on the One-on-One tour was to the Radisson Airport Hotel located at 2081 Post Road.
The recently renovated hotel is 100 % non-smoking, offers free high-speed internet, a new fitness center, 24 hour airport shuttle and is currently planning for late night room service.
Marie Bouchard, general manager, gave the Mayor and his team a behind the scenes tour. During their visit, they learned how the hotel operates, from reservations, to front desk computer systems and guest check in services to restaurant and banquet service.
Mayor Avedisian wished the Radisson success in the future and congratulated the hard working Johnson and Wales students on their accomplishments in the hospitality industry.
